About SeventhVANTAGE™
CEOs need somewhere
they can tell the truth.
The higher the stakes, the fewer places a CEO can speak candidly without managing someone else’s reaction. Employees need direction. Partners need confidence. Banks need clear answers. Advisors often see only part of the picture.
Sometimes what a CEO needs is an experienced outside perspective that can look across the whole business, separate signals from noise, and say clearly: “Here is what I think is really going on.”
That is what SeventhVantage™ is built to do.
Reveal What Matters.
Our story
Growth does not automatically make a business better.
I have seen companies grow and become harder to run, more dependent on the founder, less profitable, and more complicated. That is not the kind of growth most founders set out to build.
01
More operationally fragile
02
More founder dependent
03
Harder to scale
04
Harder to transfer
05
Harder to sustain
SeventhVantage™ exists to help CEOs see those patterns earlier, while there is still room to change them.
Founder origin
SeventhVantage™ was built to give founders a confidential strategic counterpart at the highest level: a place to test the thinking, examine the assumptions, and get an outside view from someone who understands how strategy, financial performance, people, operations, and value connect.
Our mission
Give CEOs an independent view of the business as it really is, early enough to protect value and keep their options open.
How we work
Four principles, applied without exception.
Curious
We do not assume the obvious problem is the real problem. We ask until the pieces make sense.
Direct
We say what we see clearly and respectfully, especially when the issue is difficult.
Practical
A strategy only matters if the organization can execute it. The work has to hold up in the real operating week.
Confidential
CEOs need one place where they can say the thing they cannot say everywhere else. That stays protected.

The perspective behind the work.
Krista Wickens
Krista Wickens has spent more than 30 years inside businesses, from her own startups to the corporate world to working alongside hundreds of entrepreneurs and CEOs.
That range matters.
She has seen what healthy growth looks like, and what happens when revenue rises while clarity, margin, leadership, and accountability move in the other direction.
She has built companies, developed products and services, led growth (local and global), completed two founder exits, worked inside larger organizations, and advises CEOs from $2 million to $2 billion in revenue.
Across those experiences, one pattern kept showing up:
Most businesses do not have an information problem. They have a truth problem.
- Too much noise.
- Too many reports.
- Too many polite explanations for things that are not actually working.
As companies grow, complexity can make important issues easier to normalize and harder to see clearly.
That is why SeventhVantage™ exists.
Reveal What Matters is the standard for the work.
She asks the questions that help separate symptoms from root causes.
The useful question is often the one that changes the decision.
The goal is not to make the business sound better than it is.
It is to identify the real issue, understand what it is costing the business, and decide what deserves attention first.
Experience spans healthcare, professional services (financial, law, marketing, consulting), consumer products, fitness, manufacturing, staffing, hospitality, and other founder-led businesses. She has created and commercialized patented products, developed trademarked brands, built international distribution, launched new business categories, and led growth initiatives inside entrepreneurial ventures and a billion-dollar global company
Credentials: MBA, University of Denver Daniels College of Business; BA, Communications & Human Resource Management; Executive Product Strategy, Kellogg Executive Education.
The difference
Not coaching. Not a generic assessment.
SeventhVantage™ does not replace your CFO, COO, CPA, attorney, banker, or leadership team. The role is different: we look across the enterprise, connect what each function sees, and surface the issues that are easiest to miss between them.
That is the advantage of seeing it early.
Reveal What Matters.
